A clam's shell consists of two (usually equal) valves .In clams, two adductor muscles contract to close the shells. Clams eat plankton by filter feeding, and they themselves are eaten by small sharks and squid

Apple Snail lay their eggs above waterline and are unusual because they have both gills and lungs, the mantle cavity being divided to separate the two types of respiratory structures.Apple snails inhabit various ecosystems: ponds, swamps and rivers. Although they occasionally leave the water, they mainly spend time in the water. Unlike many snail species, apple snails are gonochoristic in which a male and a female are needed for reproduction
